Hey you artists out there! Have some time to kill? Feeling creative? Good!

Because I have an original character that I would love to see people draw! All pictures created of my character will be permanently displayed on my website [link] and in this favourites folder [link] - but first they will all be featured in my journal!

Description:

Name: Myriddian (female).

Body: Athletic yet curvy.

Skin: Pale.

Eyes: Deep blue.

Hair: Long, straight, very dark burgundy hair, usually tied in one long braid.

Scars: Three long scratches on the right side of her face from her hairline to her chin.

Clothing: Everything she wears is black. Cloth pants and shirt covered by a leather vest, long leather boots and a long cloak clasped at her neck by a dark blue gemstone brooch.

Personality: Intense. She is a fighter but speaks rarely and never smiles. She has lost much in her life and exists only to exact revenge on those who destroyed her life. Yet she cares deeply for those around her and would die for those she cares about.

Weapons: She carries a sword and matching dagger with a dark blue gemstone in the pommel ( same blue as brooch).

What to do:

Draw, sketch, paint etc Myriddian and link the deviation to me so I can add it to my favourites! I’ll post each one in my journal/website as they are done. ^^

Please no explicit scenes/nudity/excessive gore etc.

The Artist - Kathryn Whiteford

I was born in the late 70's with a vivid imagination and the drive to create. For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed drawing many things including various animals, landscapes and people. As time went on my interest turned to the realm of fantasy. Having enjoyed fantasy films for my entire life (Legend, The Dark Crystal, The Neverending Story, Willow, The Last Unicorn, The Princess Bride, etc), I guess it was inevitable.

As much as I love fantasy art, games, costumes and stories I more than happily live in the real world. I am a Christian and married to a wonderful man named Andrew and we have a son aged seven, Tarran. We homeschool our son and although it is not something I would recommend to every family it most definitely suits us. I adore teaching him and watching him learn.

I am a self taught artist and seamstress and I believe anybody can become accomplished in whatever they desire with a bit of determination and self discipline. Many free resources are available via the internet to help artists learn what they must to become successful. Only by practicing and challenging yourself will you see improvement in your work, and as the old adage goes - practice makes perfect.
